By day Ken is an engineering assistant at Doug Fleenor Design a manufacturer of products that use and support the DMX512 control standard. In basic terms, DFD are the go to guys for lighting control distribution for theater, film, rock concerts and theme parks.

Before joining Doug Fleenor Design in 2002 Ken rose through the ranks at Disney like a mouse eared balloon. Joining the Disneyland Technical Services department 1992 and later transferring to Walt Disney Imagineering in 1997. While serving as lighting designer for WDI he designed and managed the installations of lighting systems for attraction and entertainment venues for parks in Tokyo and Paris. Before serving the Walt Disney Company Ken was a staff member of the South Coast Repertory Theater Company (Costa Mesa, Ca.) and a stage craft instructor for the Orange County High School of the Performing Arts (Los Alamitos, Ca.)

These days when Ken has some time on his hands he enjoys lighting special events in San Luis Obispo County
